Pharmacist In Charge

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensure accurate and compliant medication dispensing, lead pharmacy technicians, and maintain high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

• Review and accurately dispense provider prescriptions.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate Pharmacy Technicians.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, stocking, labeling, and medication expiration.
• Maintain patient medication profiles and dispensing history.
• Counsel patients and provide medication-related guidance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Fraud, Waste & Abuse regulations, and applicable laws.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local pharmacy regulations.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate technician schedules and staffing.
• Support technician performance evaluations and overall pharmacy operations.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (
  PharmD
  ) required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
  .
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Experience with Pharmacy Patient Management Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous pharmacy leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
