Job Title: Pharmacist In Charge (PIC)
Location: Nacogdoches, TX 75961
Duration: Full time permanent
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:The Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) is responsible for preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians, and managing the overall day-to-day pharmacy responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and hands-on retail pharmacy management experience.
Required Education & Skills- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Pharmacist License required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills
- Minimum 3–5 years retail pharmacy management experience required
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
Previous pharmacy leadership experience preferred - Experience utilizing Pharmacy Patient Management Systems
- Experience managing pharmacy operations and compliance
- Standing for prolonged periods of time
- Fine motor skills
- Ability to handle, control, and operate pharmacy tools and equipment
