Position: Welder - Hiring Now
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Pads Welder - 2nd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.

- 10:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory  hourly rate for this position is $23.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential.

What you'll do:

The Pads Welder will weld Padmount tank covers and door hinges onto the tank.

In this function, you will:

• Perform welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, inside tanks, etc.) using techniques such as MIG welding, TIG welding, manual welding, and tack welding.

• Inspect personal and others' work to ensure it meets quality standards, addressing issues such as leaking tanks and missing studs.

• Execute inspection and test procedures, taking corrective action for nonconformance.

• Maintain accurate production counts and reconcile them with work order requirements.

• Retrieve and weld covers as needed, and perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.

• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.

• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.

• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.

• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to operate industrial equipment and hand tools.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Ability to work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.

• Must adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined below:
