Job Summary
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Pads Welder - 2nd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility. Core hours are Monday‑Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory hourly rate for this position is $23.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.

- Perform welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, inside tanks, etc.) using techniques such as MIG welding, TIG welding, manual welding, and tack welding.
- Inspect personal and others’ work to ensure it meets quality standards, addressing issues such as leaking tanks and missing studs.
- Execute inspection and test procedures, taking corrective action for nonconformance.
- Maintain accurate production counts and reconcile them with work order requirements.
- Retrieve and weld covers as needed, and perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Actively participate in problem‑solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Achieve and maintain target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensure efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
- No relocation benefit is being offered. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility (Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt).

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates effective communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive work ethic; comprehends written and verbal instructions accurately and upholds Eaton’s Values.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment and hand tools.
- Can lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials.
- Can work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.
- Adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined below.
