POSITION SUMMARY
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department. Renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. Treats patients and their families with courtesy and respect. Creates a trusting attitude in both parents towards nursing and helps them accept their responsibility as parents. In support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital.
Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care.

Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Minimum Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Minimum Experience: RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience required
Required Certification: BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring required
Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Note: Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
