RN - Med/Surg

Nacogdoches, TX

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered at the unit level
• Evaluate clinical staff competency and support appropriate resource management related to patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs across a shift
• Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately

• Prior experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with clinical resource management and quality improvement initiatives
