Job SummaryThis position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Full Time, Days.
Renders professional nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab, in support of medical care directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect nursing care. Performs a variety of duties involving patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This includes patient monitoring, evaluation of lab work and continuous monitoring of vital signs.
Directs age specific nursing activities during emergency situations.
- Minimum Education:
Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing - Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience as an RN in an acute care setting. - Required Certification: BLS, ACLS
- Required Licensure: RN license in the State of Texas
- FLSA Status:
Non-exempt
Skills:
Computer, typewriter skills.
Note: Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
