Assists in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to an assigned group of patients. The role includes patient care in general nursing units, special care areas, maternal‑child units, and the emergency unit, with assignments based on patient age and condition. The position requires a minimum of eight hours per week and may involve shifts in increments of 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours as assigned.

• Assist in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to assigned patients.
• Support patient care across general nursing units, special care areas, maternal‑child units, and the emergency unit.
• Work at least eight hours per week, with shift assignments in 4, 8, 10, or 12‑hour increments as needed.
• Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and in the 3rd or 4th semester of the nursing program.
• Minimum Experience:
  
  Successfully completed a basic clinical skills lab.
• Required Certification:
  Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Required Licensure:
  None specified at this time.
• FLSA Status:
  To be determined.
• Required certifications to be completed within three months of employment.
