Job SummaryPerforms a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for the Emergency Room Unit and patients as directed in relation to the designated position. Provides best possible patient care through prompt, adequate examination and treatment. This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus.
QualificationsMinimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum Experience: Not specified.
Required Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred.
Note:
required certifications are to be completed within 3 months of employment.
Required Licensure: Current Texas nursing license.
Skills: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
Organization DescriptionNacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery. These services help the medical center provide treatment options close to home for patients.
