The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative and everyday maintenance. This position will be located in Thibodaux and will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities- Wash, paint and weld on tanks and buildings
- Repair/install pumps on tanks and dispensers
- Perform preventative maintenance on and fix equipment
- Install and change light bulbs, signs, shelving, displays, etc.
- Deliver and pick up tanks and equipment
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report findings to proper supervision
- Assist other maintenance technicians as needed
- Take after hours and weekend calls
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Welding experience preferred
- Willingness to be on call rotation
- Ability to work under moderate supervision
