Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel and gasoline equipment and trucks; diagnose and repair deficiencies and wear; keep maintenance records;
Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections; install component upgrades and perform winterization; manage corrosion control;
Repair major assemblies and sub-systems (powertrain, electrical, braking, hydraulics, etc.); perform machine shop operations and precise adjustments;
Verify vehicle performance with test drives and adjust controls to meet standards;
Maintain vehicle appearance and records; manage shop equipment, supplies, and warranties; pursue opportunities to add value to the maintenance program
