The Temporary One Stop Specialist plays an important role in creating a seamless admissions experience for prospective and current students. This position ensures admissions documents are accurately reviewed, processed, and entered into the student information system while providing friendly, professional support to students and the public. Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Student & Customer Support- Provide accurate admissions and enrollment information to prospective and current students, families, and the public.
- Respond to inquiries professionally while creating a welcoming, student‑centered experience.
- Assist students in navigating admissions requirements and available resources.
- Review, audit, and process admissions documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter student data into the student information system efficiently while maintaining data integrity.
- Monitor missing or incomplete documentation and communicate with applicants to facilitate timely completion.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting established processing timelines.
- Organize records and workflows to support efficient admissions operations.
- Assist with coverage during peak periods, including occasional evening hours and travel between campus locations as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality service across One Stop Student Services.
- Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Demonstrate CWI's values through professional communication, teamwork, and commitment to student success.
- College level coursework. Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- One year of professional experience working with students in a postsecondary setting or three years working in an office environment. Two options—one year of student interaction experience or three years in an office setting, or five years of postsecondary experience—are acceptable; five years of office experience is preferred.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Image Now, and Colleague Databases.
- Experience in data entry and detail work.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Temporary position is expected to last through December 2026, though the end date is subject to change.
