- Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles.
- Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts.
- Using independent judgment needed to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution.
- Operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Work is performed indoors in a shop environment with mechanic's hand and power tools; standing and walking are required for the entire shift.
- Frequently push, pull, crouch, squat, reach, and kneel to access all parts of vehicles; lifting and pushing/pulling weights from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.
- This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a minimum of two years previous mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
- AES certifications are preferred.
- Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
