Area Manager 2026 – WA, OR, , MT (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)
Amazon is seeking customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly associates across our Operations network. This is a full-time, entry-level role located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. You will motivate, mentor, and manage a team to meet goals, with extensive training and development provided to become an exceptional people leader. You will help maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance at work.
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for engaging, leading and developing your team in a warehouse environment.
Key job responsibilities- Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off.
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026. (You must have all degree requirements met before your first day).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $63,600/year to $82,700/year, depending on geographic location, experience and other factors. Amazon is a total compensation company; depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other compensation may be provided as part of a total package. For more information, visit
