In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with internal business partners to execute supplier negotiations, manage contract performance, and develop sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading RFx processes, assessing supplier proposals, and ensuring contractual language supports our business needs. You will also serve as a key resource for supplier concerns, providing guidance on escalated issues and partnering with senior leadership to drive excellence.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years' strategic procurement experience, including supplier contracting and sourcing
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively
• Strong analytical skills to assess RFx processes and supplier performance
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with in the health insurance or health-related sectors
• Knowledge of supplier market research and negotiation techniques
• Certifications related to procurement or supplier management

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience equals one year of college)
• Prior experience leading negotiation and contracting processes in a complex organizational environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to support frequent supplier and stakeholder meetings
• A proactive approach to supplier qualification and risk management
