Warehouse Associate

• Greets customers and helps unload scrap metal
• Identifies and sorts different types of materials
• Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers
• Helps with housekeeping during down times
• Must be willing to fill at other tasks when needed and performing only those jobs on which they have been trained
• Must be willing to work in the weather conditions
• Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
• Able to handle and work with demanding customers
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Must have forklift operating experience
• Must have steel toed boots
• 1 year of customer service experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass background check along with drug and alcohol testing
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Good attendance and punctuality is a must
• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Effective written communication skills and ability to complete paperwork promptly
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Understand computer basics

• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 80 pounds.
• The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
