Position Summary

The Horse Park Guest Services Staff provides excellent customer services to all patrons. This position assists patrons during check‑in, throughout their horse show, and at check‑out. Assists with showing patrons to their RV location, unlocking horse stalls and assisting trainers with loading/unloading their horses, providing directions, and answering questions. You will have the opportunity to assist horse trainers and patrons experience a world‑class experience at the Ford Idaho Center.

This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00-$14.00.

This position will remain open until May 22, 2026.

About The Venue

The Ford Idaho Center is the premier Multi‑Event Complex in the Pacific Northwest. Attend a concert, convention, sporting event, trade show, or an equestrian show, and you will be treated to a first‑class experience.

The Ford Idaho Center Horse Park hosts equestrian shows from mid‑March to early November. The Horse Park hosts around 25 shows annually. With over 650 stalls, both covered and uncovered arenas, 104 full RV hook‑ups, 9 wash rack bays and 13 stock pens with a capacity of up to 800 head of cattle, the horse park is the premier equine facility in Idaho and western United States.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome horse park patrons to the Ford Idaho Center Horse Park.
  • Assist trainers with loading/unloading horse, feeding and watering their horses upon arrival at the horse park.
  • Lend a hand in resolving customer service issues.
  • Respond to patron concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for attendees.
  • Be knowledgeable about the Horse Park to be a resource for patrons with questions.
  • Assist Horse Park Manager during the check‑in/out process to make sure each trainer/patron has a smooth and easy experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
  • Follow the directions of the Horse Park Event Manager in the daily operations of each horse show.
Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service and/or working with the general public.
  • You must love working with and helping people.
  • You must maintain a POSITIVE attitude while working with the public.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, days, nights, weekends & holidays.
  • Ability to drive a golf cart, use keys & padlocks to lock/unlock horse stalls.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
