Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Customer Service Representative position. The Industrial Store Customer Service Representative is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in/online customers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
- Answer telephone calls promptly
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
- Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
- Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
- Research products needed for customer special applications
- Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
- Keep sales literature current and organized
- Track customer’s order in the computer and be able to interpret where order is in the delivery process
- Load products into customer vehicle
- Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
