Job Overview

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a part‑time Patient (Lactation) Educator RN to join our Nampa Medical Center. The Educator will provide educational material and individualized education to patients and assist staff in delivering optimal nursing care for breastfeeding families.

• Teach and provide support to patients based on their specific needs and learning ability.
• Coordinate education with other disciplines as relates to the program specialty.
• Review and update patient teaching materials related to the program specialty.
• Assist patients with developing skills needed to manage their disease through behavior modification.
• Provide comprehensive education to clients who have self‑selected the learning opportunity.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree
• 1+ year experience
• Current RN license in the State of Practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
