As an Adjunct Health Sciences Instructor, you will deliver engaging, high-quality instruction that supports student success in a variety of learning environments, including in-person, online, and technology-enhanced classrooms. This flexible, part-time role may include evening, weekend, or off-campus teaching assignments and offers the opportunity to help students achieve their academic and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:Deliver Engaging, High-Quality Instruction
- Teach assigned Health Sciences courses in alignment with CWI curriculum, learning outcomes, and academic standards.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and instructional technology to create engaging learning experiences across classroom and online environments.
- Maintain a consistent, professional classroom presence by meeting scheduled class times and fulfilling instructional responsibilities.
- Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement, achievement, and academic growth.
- Guide students by providing appropriate academic support and referrals when needed.
- Participate in instructional assessment and evaluation activities to support continuous improvement.
- Stay current with teaching practices, technology, and developments within the health sciences field.
- Perform other instructional responsibilities and college-related duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in health science or related field of study, with a minimum of 12 graduate credits in the discipline
- Experience teaching secondary level students in the field of study, three years preferred
- Successful experience teaching at a community college or with adult learners preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of teaching methodologies including lectures, group activities, individual instruction, distance learning, and teaching with technology
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development
- Ability to advise students
- Proficiency in usage of internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications
- Experience using instructional technology preferred
- Successful candidates must reside in Idaho.
