Position: Robotics System Engineer
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
Reports to: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an engineer with a thorough understanding of robotic applications, including programming for robots, PLCs, cameras, and HMIs.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential functions of the Robotics System Engineer position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain, develop, and implement robotic solutions to automate modular construction processes
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance robotic systems
- Program and support robots, PLCs, HMIs, and camera systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve operational efficiency and optimize production processes
- Analyze and troubleshoot logic, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovative automation strategies
- Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership or supervision
The right candidate will be detail‑oriented, innovative, self‑motivated, and focused on contributing to the overall success of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Expertise in robotics and process automation, including designing, maintaining, and implementing automated systems
- PLC programming experience using structured text (B&R preferred)
- Experience with ABB RAPID programming
- HMI development experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in software development for robotic systems programming and integration
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical concepts
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols related to robotics and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment is preferred
