Our client, an established nuclear technology company, is seeking a Principal Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation and testing of distributed control systems (DCS) for the nuclear power industry.
In this role, you will oversee hardware and software design for process monitoring and control systems across a portfolio of new-build and operating plant programs. You will lead and mentor engineering teams, drive technical decision-making, and support customer interactions across the full engineering lifecycle from concept through deployment.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of nuclear control systems, working on programs at the forefront of the industry. Success in this role will require strong technical leadership, sound engineering judgement, and the ability to mentor the next generation of engineers.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of engineering experience, including at least two years leading engineering teams, with strong PLC and DCS programming and design experience across a wide range of control system and SCADA equipment. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required.
