We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with our breeding operations for alfalfa germplasm development. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in our greenhouse plant maintenance and alfalfa crossing projects.

• Assist with alfalfa crossing and greenhouse plant maintenance, including staking, pruning, potting, watering, seeding, counting, and cleaning.
• Help with grinding alfalfa samples and taking quality samples in the field (spring-fall).
• Operate a coarse grinder and use personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, hearing protection, and goggles.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Good listening skills and self-motivation.
• Willingness to perform tedious tasks.
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible weekdays.

• Background in biology or related field.
• Computer experience.
