Financial Analyst
Internship Opportunity
To provide financial input to site management at a manufacturing site and drive financial performance improvement. Responsible for a variety of financial activities, including product costing and pricing, sales and margin forecasting, analysis of customer margins, costs, key balance sheet metrics and financial risk avoidance.
Responsibilities:
- Sales price verification
- Assist in Month End Activities
- Financial journal creation and entry
- Assist in the analysis of historical results, quoted margins and projected margins
- Provide Finance and Accounting support across the department
- Familiarity with financial principles and accounting concepts.
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field for entire duration of internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Junior level status
- GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
