Medical Office Receptionist – Primary Health Medical Group
Part‑time position. Pay starts at $16.90/hour, depending on experience.

- Have the highest quality customer service on the phone and in person
- Greet patients and visitors and determine their needs to direct them appropriately
- Perform data entry of demographic and insurance information
- Schedule and register patients, accurately collecting required data
- Receive, answer, and respond to telephone calls from patients and their representatives
- Scan and fax patient information
- Answer questions and give information directly or by telephone within the scope of practice; refer all other questions to the specified departments as needed
- Collect co‑pays, deductibles, and past balances as indicated on the insurance card and update new insurance information as received
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience. Healthcare experience preferred; EHR experience a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a professional and calm composure
- Computer proficiency and ability to use applicable software to perform essential job functions
- Recommended vaccines include annual influenza, TDaP, MMR, varicella, and TB
Primary Health Medical Group is a drug‑free and smoke‑free workplace. Employment is contingent upon a background check and drug screening. New hires should stay current on vaccinations and provide proof of immunization or schedule within two weeks of the start date.
