Position Overview
Front Desk Agent at Hotel 43 – located in downtown Boise. Deliver personalized service with poise and professionalism, setting the tone for a seamless and elevated guest experience.
Responsibilities- Answer property questions; provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, rooms, restaurants, and directions.
- Perform all front desk duties including check‑in, check‑out, room assignments, and guest key issue.
- Verify charges, collect payment and post to the corresponding guest folio in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Assist in the coordination and support of other departments as necessary.
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints, creatively solve problems, anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.
- Create, change, and understand guest & group reservations.
- Maintain the appearance and operations of the front desk, lobby, and gift shop.
- Attend periodic department trainings & meetings.
- Complete all duties in accordance with property standards and adhere to all company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property.
- Provide genuine hospitality, engage with guests, create experiences, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Consistent positive attitude.
- Ability to problem solve and multi‑task.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Competent level of IT proficiency.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be available on weekends & holidays.
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
Prolonged periods of standing at front desk and working on a computer; ability to lift, carry and manipulate various items (ex: luggage) weighing up to 50 pounds.
