Position
EDI Implementation Analyst II – Remote (United States) reporting to Manager, Health Plan Implementation Analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage internal and external relationships with payers and vendors to meet integration objectives.
- Create and manage documented deliverables, ensuring agreement from internal/external partners.
- Coordinate partner awareness on Availity functionality, addressing production issues.
- Oversee moderate‑to‐complex implementations, including submitters, partners, and vendors.
- Develop and execute implementation plans, test plans, and produce executive summaries.
- Track project progress using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.
- Mentor and guide Implementation Analysts, ensuring project completion on time.
- Represent the company professionally to external customers with supervision.
- Communicate new implementations and changes, monitor customer communications.
- Support and improve operations and documentation for EDI implementations.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and operational issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in technology (information exchange) and/or healthcare environments.
- 4+ years managing simple to moderately complex implementations.
- Knowledge of claims processing systems, provider office operations, and customer service processes.
- Understanding of HIPAA implementation guides and mandated ANSI transaction formats.
- Working knowledge of X12 transactions (837P, 837I, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, CCR/CCD).
- Ability to create and execute test plans and documentation, such as training resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and embrace change.
- Experience with Submitters, Vendors and/or Receivers/Payers a plus.
- Customer service or relationship management experience a plus.
- Experience in software implementations a plus.
