Security Specialist – Kyndryl
Role OverviewThe Security Specialist is responsible for enabling and securing Kyndryl’s customer organizations, cultures, and ecosystems. The position requires a strong focus on IAM/PAM architecture, identity governance, and cybersecurity operations, while also driving awareness and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and architect enterprise‑wide IAM, MFA, and PAM solutions.
- Lead the deployment and integration of PAM platforms with Active Directory, LDAP, cloud platforms, applications, and SSO solutions.
- Develop privileged access governance frameworks and Zero Trust access models.
- Implement advanced Conditional Access, Risk‑Based Authentication, and Just‑in‑Time access controls.
- Define privileged account lifecycle management processes.
- Perform advanced threat analysis involving privileged accounts and identity‑based attacks.
- Lead security audits, compliance assessments, and access reviews.
- Develop automation using APIs, Power Shell, Python, or other scripting tools for identity operations.
- Drive PAM vault architecture, disaster recovery, high‑availability, and scalability initiatives.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide escalation support for critical incidents.
- Assess, predict, prevent, and manage IT infrastructure and data risk.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Raise awareness of potential security threats through technical security training.
- Proficiency with PAM platforms such as Cyber Ark, Beyond Trust, Delinea, Hashi Corp Vault, or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
- Strong troubleshooting and security analytic skills.
- Cyber Ark Defender / Sentry / Guardian
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
- Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator
- CISSP
- CCSP
- CISM
