Job Summary

Gymreapers operates within a global supply network that requires close coordination between suppliers, manufacturing partners, sourcing teams, planning teams, and internal stakeholders.

The Supplier Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring suppliers successfully execute the approved supply plan and consistently meet business requirements related to production, lead times, capacity, quality, and delivery performance.

This role serves as the primary owner of supplier execution and supplier performance management. The position works closely with Supply Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Product Development, Compliance, Finance, and Plant Operations to ensure supplier performance aligns with company objectives.

The Supplier Operations Manager is responsible for proactively identifying supplier risks, driving corrective actions, improving supplier performance, and ensuring production plans are executed successfully.

The role combines strategic supplier management with hands‑on operational execution and leadership of the Production Analyst and Quality Analyst functions.

Key Responsibilities Supplier Performance Management
  • Establish and maintain supplier performance management processes.
  • Develop and manage supplier scorecards.
  • Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
  • Drive supplier accountability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Support long‑term supplier development efforts.
Production Execution Oversight
  • Ensure suppliers execute production plans in alignment with business requirements.
  • Monitor production progress across all active suppliers.
  • Review production schedules and identify risks to delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate recovery plans when production disruptions occur.
  • Ensure production priorities remain aligned with business needs.
  • Escalate critical production risks when required.
Supplier Capacity Management
  • Evaluate supplier capacity against forecasted demand requirements.
  • Monitor production capabilities and constraints.
  • Identify capacity risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support long‑term capacity planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate supplier readiness for growth initiatives and product launches.
Factory Coordination
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Gymreapers and suppliers.
  • Facilitate communication regarding production priorities, schedules, and execution requirements.
  • Coordinate issue resolution across suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely communication of production status and risks.
  • Support alignment between suppliers and internal teams.
Lead Time Performance Management
  • Monitor supplier lead time performance.
  • Track lead time trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop corrective actions when lead time performance falls below expectations.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve responsiveness and reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement of supplier execution performance.
Supplier Escalation Management
  • Lead supplier escalation processes.
  • Resolve production, delivery, quality, and capacity issues.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional support when supplier issues impact business performance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of critical supply chain disruptions.
  • Communicate escalation status and recovery plans to leadership.
Supplier Risk Identification & Mitigation
  • Proactively identify supplier risks that could impact supply continuity.
  • Develop mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Monitor operational, capacity, quality, and business risks affecting suppliers.
  • Escalate significant risks to leadership with recommended actions.
  • Support business continuity planning efforts.
Supplier Scorecard Management
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecard methodology.
  • Monitor supplier performance indicators.
  • Analyze supplier performance trends.
  • Drive accountability through performance reviews.
  • Support supplier improvement initiatives using scorecard data.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Production Analyst and Quality Analyst functions.
  • Establish priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities.
