The appearance and cleanliness of our hotel make an important first impression. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Attendant to help keep our public spaces clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including the lobby, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other common spaces.
• Inventory cleaning supplies and properly stock your cart before and throughout the shift.
• Empty trash and maintain clean, orderly waste areas.
• Wipe, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Polish brass and stainless-steel surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep, dust, and mop hard-surface floors.
• Clean doors, door frames, windows, and ledges.
• Clean elevators and elevator areas.
• Clean mirrors, pictures, and decorative surfaces.
• Restock restroom and public-area supplies, including toilet paper, soap, towels, and other amenities.
• Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or unusual conditions.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests and direct guests to the appropriate team member when needed.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and safe manner.
• Assist the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning assignments as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or General Manager.

What Makes You Successful

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Positive and professional communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively with guests, supervisors, and fellow associates.
• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
