"THIS POSITION WILL BE OPEN TO ALL EMPLOYEES CURRENTLY SERVING AS A STATION SUPERVISOR LEVEL I OR II"
Position OverviewWe are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Station Supervisors to work in the Environmental Operations Unit Support Office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the adherence to detailed protocols and the highest standards within the Environmental Operations Unit.
Responsibility- Ensure appropriate supervisory and hourly coverage requirements are met
- Prepare and assign daily Refuse train/truck routes
- Review, compile and record data relevant to Refuse collection
- Review and analyze required reports to ensure accuracy
- Supervise CTA personnel assigned to Environmental Operations Unit
- Maintain and schedule vehicle repair and inspection for all Environmental Operations vehicles
- Coordinate repair and servicing of refuse inserts with outside vendor
- Perform field inspections to ensure adequate cleaning and servicing of refuse platforms
- Act as a liaison between Environmental Operations and other Divisions
Education and Experience
Station Supervisors who have one (1) year in title.
Desired Skills- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Exceptional attention to details
- Understanding of Refuse operational needs and goals
- Knowledge of New York City Transit rules, regulations and operating procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Supervisor may be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing operations aboard Refuse trains and trucks. Selection Method
