Assembly Technician

Trillium Staffing is now hiring Assembly Technicians!

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and installing a variety of signage components with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires solid experience with hand and power tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly. The technician plays a key role in ensuring quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals for assembly or construction tasks.
• Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components using hand tools or rivet guns.
• Operate metalworking machines such as milling or grinding machines to fabricate parts.
• Assemble and install electrical, LED, and other signage components.
• Utilize hand and power tools to secure parts and attach functional or cosmetic hardware.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with operating various hand tools.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

• Proficient in reading and using a tape measure accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of integrity.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• You will be required to wear safety glasses at all times and often required to wear cut resistant gloves and hearing protection.
• Repetitive motions may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat, humidity, and cold in an open shop environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Exposure to high noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
