Welder​/Fabricator

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks, including measuring, cutting, forming, and assembling metal components according to specifications and blueprints.;
Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes and other shop tools to form and shape metal parts accurately.;
Execute welding operations on fabricated parts, applying appropriate welding techniques to achieve strong, clean welds.;
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine job requirements, dimensions, and fabrication methods.;
Use grinding tools to finish and smooth welded and fabricated surfaces to meet quality standards.;
Perform metal cutting using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring precise cuts and minimizing material waste.;
Assemble fabricated parts into final products or subassemblies, verifying fit, alignment, and structural integrity.;
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed.
