Manufacturing Technician II - 2nd Shift

Purpose Statement

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

• Develops / executes manufacturing solutions / provides services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications / cross‑discipline or supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes and provides support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive understanding of equipment / process control / safety / risk awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

This position will support 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 2pm - 10pm. This shift includes a 10% shift differential.

• Associate's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

• Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $67,900.00
