** SUMMARY
* * The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and installing a variety of signage components with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires solid experience with hand and power tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly. The technician plays a key role in ensuring quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
** ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
*** Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals for assembly or construction tasks.
* Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components using hand tools or rivet guns.
* Operate metalworking machines such as milling or grinding machines to fabricate parts.
* Assemble and install electrical, LED, and other signage components.
* Utilize hand and power tools to secure parts and attach functional or cosmetic hardware.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.## Qualifications
** TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS
*** High School Diploma or GED required.
* Experience with operating various hand tools.
** SKILLS / ABILITIES
*** Proficient in reading and using a tape measure accurately.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of integrity.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality.
*
* WORKING CONDITIONS:
*** You will be required to wear safety glasses at all times and often required to wear cut resistant gloves and hearing protection.
* Repetitive motions may be required.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts.
* Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat, humidity, and cold in an open shop environment.
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Exposure to high noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
