Are you passionate about plant science and looking for a hands-on opportunity in Nampa, ? We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with breeding operations for alfalfa germplasm development. This role involves working with delicate plant material and supporting greenhouse plant maintenance. Your contributions will be vital in advancing our alfalfa breeding program.

• Assist in alfalfa crossing and greenhouse plant maintenance, including staking, pruning, potting, watering, seeding, counting, and cleaning.
• Help with grinding alfalfa samples and taking quality samples in the field during spring and fall.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and attention to detail in all tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good eye-hand coordination and excellent listening skills.
• Willingness to perform tedious tasks.
• Ability to work weekends and some weekdays with flexible hours.
• Background check required before starting.

• Basic computer experience.
• Self-motivated and able to have fun while working.
• Biology knowledge is a plus.

Note: This position requires the use of PPE such as masks, hearing protection, and goggles. Workers may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, dust, or noise.
