Industrial Technician

Purpose Statement

This role requires an understanding of focus factory processes and expertise in various technical areas. The individual will not only assist engineers with projects and experiments but also provide technical support to all departments in core functions like layouts, capacity models, and ergonomics, and guide Industrial Engineering teams in optimizing productivity and operational excellence across the manufacturing locations.

• Executes manufacturing solutions and provides services that are high‑quality, cost‑appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements, applying process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes, and provides support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Has a basic understanding of equipment, process control, safety, risk awareness, setup awareness, and operation, as it applies to their role.

• Associate's Degree with 1 or more years of related experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Salary Range: $42,300.00 - $63,500.00

Work Shift:

This position will work a day shift, Monday - Friday.
