Production QC/QA, Production Manager
Purpose Statement
Responsible for supervising and managing activities directly related to the daily business needs. Activities include direction and leadership, daily production workload, quality, cross training, skill development, and time‑off approvals/hours worked. The position is under limited supervision and requires moderate discretion and independent judgment to develop, analyze, and deliver simple to complex information. Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of two or more employees, assigns tasks, checks work at frequent intervals, maintains schedules, completes performance appraisal recommendations, and recommends job classifications.
KeyJob Accountabilities
- Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensuring quality products are produced and department metrics are achieved.
- Conduct people‑leader activities such as approving time off, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and disciplinary action, and maintaining company policies and procedures.
- Communicate written and oral daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns to employees, other shifts, support staff, supervisors, and managers to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure individuals are trained to the appropriate assembly build instructions and are compliant with all applicable training requirements, flexing personnel as needed to meet customer schedules based on training and skill sets.
- Support and lead improvement initiatives and actively participate in improving the work environment, including safety, cleanliness, product quality and efficiency. Generate new and innovative solutions to complex problems.
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) years of related experience required; two (2) or more years preferred.
- Basic decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic supervision and team‑building skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Basic data analysis and presentation skills.
- General office equipment and materials competence.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift; frequently reach at waist or above head; carry up to 4.5 kg (15 lbs) and lift up to 20.4 kg (45 lbs); use fine motor skills and occasional hand tools; push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop frequently; meet visual acuity requirements defined by industry certifications and customer specifications.

Shift: 2nd shift (Monday through Friday, 8‑hour, 2:00 PM‑10:00 PM)
Salary Range: $45,300.00 – $67,900.00
