Discover your exciting role We are seeking a motivated Fit-Up Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will prepare and assemble components with precision and efficiency to support our high-tech production processes. Your mechanical knowledge, hands‑on skills with tools, and experience in factory environments will drive the success of our assembly line operations.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities- Assemble and fit tubing, piping, and valves according to drawings, prints, and work instructions.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures.
- Measure materials and components using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools
- Interpret measurements in both fractional and decimal formats.
- Safely operate hand and power tools while following company safety procedures.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure assemblies meet specifications.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
- Support cross-training efforts and assist in other production areas as needed.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and how to safely use them.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or automotive-related industries a plus
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week, including weekends, as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling throughout the shift.
