Assembler​/Fabrication

Atlas Staffing is seeking an Assembler for one of the largest diamond tool and equipment manufacturers in the United States! If you are someone who sets high standards for your work and believes in great quality products, we want to hear from you.

Summary:

Assemble machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:

• Plans assembly procedures, following specifications
• Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts
• Drills, taps, or reams holes
• Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together
• Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement
• Bends and installs pipe for hydraulic systems
• Aligns and meshes components to assemble systems of machines
• Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product
• Runs wires through conduit, strips wires, add terminal ends and attach wire to terminals
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience assembling machines, equipment and subassemblies
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Experience following blueprints and written and verbal instructions to assemble product
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• High school diploma or GED
• Mathematical skills
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable squatting, bending, climbing, laying and standing

Wage: $21.21 - $21.21/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM + Occasional OT, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
