Registered Nurse - Nampa Emergency Department

Saint Alphonsus Health System is hiring Registered Nurses to support our two Emergency Departments in Nampa, Idaho. These full‑time positions are for the 12‑hour night shift (7 pm to 7 am) with expectations to work two weekends per month. Highly qualified candidates may be considered for part‑time or day‑shift opportunities.

• Provide autonomous, fast‑paced nursing care in collaboration with physicians.
• Treat common presentations such as fractures, fevers, allergic reactions, COPD, respiratory illnesses, and trauma cases appropriate for a Level VI Trauma Center.
• Utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to prioritize patient needs.
• Participate in a team‑based environment and float between the Nampa Garrity ED and the 12th Avenue ED as needed.

Preferred:
One or more years of RN experience in an emergency setting.

• Current Idaho RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• All applicants must provide licensure or proof of application for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of hire.
• Other certifications may be required as identified in the SAHS Certification Cross‑walk.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire; ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• BLS/HCP certification from AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS.

• Nampa Garrity ED – Level VI Trauma Center with 30 beds, average 80 patients/day.
• Nampa 12th Avenue ED – freestanding ED with 16 beds, average 35 patients/day.
