Job Summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho’s only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2025, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at our Level III trauma center in Nampa, Idaho.
Employment Type: Full time.
Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift.

What to expect
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care in an 18‑bed medical ICU.
  • Use advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients in critical conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of skilled nurses to deliver critical care and ensure a supportive, compassionate environment.
  • Work in our newest facility with state‑of‑the‑art equipment that includes lifts in every room, two bariatric rooms, and stocking innovations designed to streamline your workflow.
  • Implement evidence‑based practices and protocols to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients’ conditions, treatments, and progress.
  • Make quick, informed decisions during emergency situations to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, guiding them through their conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.
  • Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatments.
Qualifications
  • Must hold an Idaho or multistate RN license; if holding a multistate license, must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Willing to obtain Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Willing to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire.
