Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Nampa,

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, supporting patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum couplet care
• Circulate and recover patients in C-Section OR suites
• Staff triage and manage patients according to AWHONN staffing standards (1:1 labor, 1:3 postpartum couplets, 1:3 triage)
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin protocols
• Attend deliveries, complete newborn stabilization, physical assessment, and cares within the first two hours of birth
• Care for a diverse patient population including HTN/magnesium patients, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, BACs, and antepartum patients at 32 weeks gestation or greater

• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; 2–3 years strongly preferred
• Mother-baby (postpartum couplet care) experience required; 1 year preferred
• Experience attending deliveries, performing newborn care, triage, C-Section circulation, and postpartum couplet care
• Experience with magnesium administration and titration
• Active RN license valid in Idaho (or compact state eligibility)
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and S.T.A.B.L.E.

• Charge nurse experience
• Familiarity with Centricity EFM system and Epic (Curio)
• Experience caring for antepartum patients and high-risk obstetric diagnoses

• Work in a full-scope LDRP unit with an embedded support model, OB hospitalist coverage 24/7, Neonatal NP on-site 24/7, and anesthesia available around the clock
• No on-call requirement and no set holiday obligation for travel RNs, offering a predictable and supportive work environment
