Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse focused on Labor and Delivery to provide specialized patient care. The role involves supporting birthing patients through the labor process and ensuring positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess obstetric patients to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Idaho nursing license.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Demonstrate experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Exhibit strong assessment and communication skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
