Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Labor and Delivery setting. The nurse will support expectant mothers through prenatal, delivery, and postpartum stages, ensuring safe and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans for labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure patient safety.
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
• Administer medications and administer post-procedure assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical interventions and patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or maternal health.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Possess current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stakes situations.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care skills.
