Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate patient care during childbirth. The ideal candidate will support mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal and maternal health status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as directed by physicians and protocols.
• Assist with various delivery procedures, including cesarean sections and natural births.
• Educate and support new mothers on postpartum care and newborn procedures.
• Record detailed patient observations and clinical documentation accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in good standing.
• Possess recent experience in Labor and Delivery or obstetric nursing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and emergency response.
• Exhibit strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Maintain current certifications, including NRP and BLS.
