Travel Nurse Source is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified NICU RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404!
Job TitleTravel RN – NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed, Level 3 NICU with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 based on acuity
- Care for central lines and perform daily fluid changes
- Manage patients on noninvasive ventilation, including BCPAP and NAVA
- Care for post-surgical infants with ostomies and Broviac catheters
- Assist with procedures including central line placement and chest tube insertion
- Float to Mother/Baby couplet care and Pediatrics as needed; fulfill 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule with no required on-call
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
- Demonstrated ability to care for central lines, patients on NIV (BCPAP, NAVA), and post-surgical neonates with ostomies and Broviac catheters
- Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Isoprime (Neonatal Notes Manager) and Meditech a plus
- Experience with invasive mechanical ventilation in a neonatal setting
- Familiarity with specialized equipment including Oscillator, Drager, Therapeutic Hypothermia, and HHNC
- Strong communication skills with families and interdisciplinary care teams
