Position Summary
Shift
: 12‑hour C Shift (every other Wednesday, Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM).
Purpose
:
Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels throughout various stages of production. Visually inspects sub‑assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and via lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis activities to identify causes of quality issues.
- Enter standardized information into GSF.
- Supervise work area in accordance with 5’s standards.
- Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
- Keep supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.
- Minimum of a middle school certificate.
- One (1) year of related experience in a manufacturing process is required; two (2) or more years preferred.
- Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend) and HLA product builds.
- Advanced electronic manufacturing experience, including workmanship standards, preferred.
- IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑A‑620 certification or equivalent required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience that enables successful performance of the key job accountabilities may be considered.
- Advanced reading, writing and math skills (12th grade level).
- Inspection skills.
- Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
- Must complete training for and become certified in Quality Assurance within six months of employment and maintain QA certification.
- Basic PC skills (keyboarding, mouse usage, opening and closing programs/files in Windows/Google Workspace) and familiarity with Plexus software packages.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
- Ability to handle a PCB by turning, flipping and angling.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision for use of monitor, keyboard and inspection equipment; must meet visual acuity requirements.
- General office equipment and materials knowledge.
Role will work in an electro‑mechanical manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, low noise level and suitable lighting. Requires physical stamina, strong manual dexterity and fine motor control to operate precise measurement equipment or delicate tools. Visual inspection may require acute near vision and ability to work continually using magnifiers, cameras and other vision systems. Majority of time standing and sitting with limited lifting and material handling.
Repetitive computer tasks across various software may be required.

Salary Range: $39,500.00 – $59,300.00 (geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level will affect final offer).
