The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$42,300.00 - $63,500.00

Purpose Statement:

This Supplier Quality Technician role is responsible in assisting with updating and maintaining supplier controls in regards to quality and compliance for incoming raw materials and services. Supports and provides guidance to the Inspectors with part inspection requirements.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Performs verification of supplier related quality issues against defined criteria and prepares all paperwork necessary to return material.
  • Receives and reviews nonconforming material reports to ensure that material is properly identified and packaged to ensure its integrity until dispositioned, and executes site containment actions for supplier quality related issues
  • Supports the collection of supplier quality performance information in order to monitor supplier performance.
  • Disposition and coordination of purge screening activities with supplier/ 3rd party.
  • Support the Nonconforming Material disposition process.
Education/Experience

Qualifications:

  • Associate s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
Other

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Minimum understanding of GD&T and Part specification drawings reading.
Physical Requirements:
  • Role will support operational teams in a manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require walking, standing and sitting, using a computer, and other office equipment. Direct interaction with people and equipment is event driven and will include activities related to inspecting, qualifying, troubleshooting and improving jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing methods using different types of components or material.

    Role may require working individually on tasks with a prolonged focus on written material, working collectively as part of a team of various disciplines and backgrounds and working in multiple software systems.

  • Less than 40%
