Adecco is hiring experienced Quality Control Inspectors to support printed circuit board assembly lines for a family-owned company in Nampa. This position is responsible for inspecting electronic components and completed assemblies to identify defects and verify compliance with customer and quality requirements.
Pay: $20.00 to $30.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities- Perform first article inspections (FAI)
- Complete in-process, component, and final inspections
- Inspect printed circuit boards produced through SMT, hand assembly, and machine assembly processes
- Inspect surface-mount and through-hole solder connections using IPC and J-STD standards
- Operate AOI inspection programs as needed
- Identify PCB assembly defects and prevent nonconforming products from moving through production or being shipped
- Use microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, multimeters, and other electronic inspection equipment
- Communicate quality concerns to production, engineering, and management
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation
- Support internal quality audits and product-quality improvement activities
- Perform occasional hand soldering or technician duties when inspection work is not required
- Previous quality inspection experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing
- Experience inspecting SMT and through-hole soldering
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and common defect types
- Ability to complete first article inspections
- Experience using microscopes, magnifiers, measurement calipers, and multimeters
- Knowledge of AOI, X-ray inspection, and BGA components
- Ability to read work instructions, inspection checklists, and bills of materials
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and ISO 9001 requirements
- Experience in electronics, aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, or a related quality department
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- ERP system experience is a plus
- J-STD certification is preferred
$20.00 to $30.00 per hour
